so I made a tagboard. like it’s 2004 and my homework is on fire and this is somehow more important.
you type your name.
you speak your mind.
you hit tag!
and it just… sits there. forever. judging nobody. holding your “hi i was here” like a hamster with a secret.
I still had the old zip.

which I am pretty sure does not live on this earth anymore. the site packed its bags, changed its name, and moved to a farm upstate. the zip did not. the zip survived CDs, a CD reader I bought in 2026, and a folder probably named final_final_FINAL.
Tagomatic. 2001. little box. “speak your mind.” I looked at it and went: oh no. I have to bring you home.
I did NOT drop that raw PHP on WordPress like a raccoon with a power strip. that script writes to a text file and trusts the internet. the 2004 internet was feral. so I rebuilt the toy: same energy, pinker clothes, baby smileys, no “please chmod 777 or we perish.”
rules of the tagboard (there are three):
- be kind
- you may use a baby smiley. you SHOULD use a baby smiley
- if you post “No message provided” I will assume you meant “I love pixels” and move on
also: it works on the phone now. after I fought iPhone over a blue button like it owed me lunch money.
anyway I’m done for tonight.
